James Whelan Butchers is a family firm in business over 45 years, whilst the trade and craft of breeding Aberdeen Angus and Hereford beef has now been practised by five generations of the Whelan family.
Today, we ally that experience with the most advanced contemporary technologies, both on our farm and in our shop in Clonmel. Our cattle all carry individual “passports” throughout processing, and all our work is accomplished to the most exacting standards, from our own abattoir at the family farm through to the shop.
This allows us to give people that essential element of trust that every consumer requires when they buy meat today, we try to take this further, and give the best possible tasting beef.
